NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING

NOTICE is hereby given that the Board of Directors of Montgomery County Municipal Utility District No. 8 (the “District” or “MUD 8”) of Montgomery County, Texas will meet in regular session, open to the public, on WEDNESDAY, APRIL 8, 2026, at 9:00 A.M., at the Walden Yacht Club, 13101 Melville Drive, Montgomery, Texas 77356, at which meeting the following items will be considered and acted upon:

1. Public comments (public comments shall be limited to 3 minutes per member of the public);

2. Minutes of March 11, 2026 regular meeting;

3. Audit Report for Fiscal Year Ended (“FYE”) December 31, 2025, including filing of same with all agencies with jurisdiction;

4. Tax Assessor/Collector’s Report, including:
a. Collection Report; and
b. Delinquent Tax Report;

5. Bookkeeper’s Report, including:
a. financial reports;
b. cash flows; and
c. payment of bills;

6. Engineer’s Report, including:
a. Lift Station Rehabilitation Project (Phase II);
b. Montgomery County Municipal Utility District No. 9 (“MUD 9”) Buckingham Water Plant Generator Project;
c. update on MUD 9 proposed Lake Estates drainage improvements;
d. annual water plant inspections; and
e. rehabilitation of stormwater outfall lines;

7. Operator’s Report, including:
a. monthly water and wastewater operations;
b. delinquent accounts; and
c. Groundwater Credit Report;

8. Emergency/Hurricane Preparedness Plan;

9. Update on Water Conservation Plan and Drought Contingency Plan;

10. Update on cybersecurity assessment;

11. Miscellaneous Reports, including:
a. Walden Community Improvement Association; and
b. MUD 9;

12. Update on the Old Walden Fire Station (“OWFS”) property; and

13. Attorney’s Report, including approve amendment of Interlocal Agreement with MUD 9 for Financing, Construction, Ownership, Operation and Maintenance of Water Facilities.

If, during the course of the meeting covered by this Notice, the Board should determine that a closed or executive session of the Board should be held or is required in relation to any agenda item included in this Notice, then such closed or executive meeting or session, as authorized by the Texas Open Meetings Act, will be held by the Board at the date, hour, and place given in this Notice concerning any and all subjects for any and all purposes permitted by Sections 551.071 through 551.084, 551.0761 and 551.089, of the Texas Government Code and the Texas Open Meetings Act, including, but not limited to, Section 551.071, for the purpose of a private consultation with the Board’s attorney on any and all subjects or matters authorized by law.
