NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING
NOTIFICACIÓN DE REUNIÓN PÚBLICA

NOTICE is hereby given that the Board of Directors of Montgomery County Municipal Utility District No. 8 (the “District” or “MUD 8”) of Montgomery County, Texas will meet in regular session, open to the public, on WEDNESDAY, MARCH 11, 2026, at 9:00 A.M., at the Walden Yacht Club, 13101 Melville Drive, Montgomery, Texas 77356, at which meeting the following items will be considered and acted upon:

Por la presente se notifica que la Junta Directiva del Distrito Municipal de Servicios Públicos del Condado de Montgomery No. 8 (el “Distrito” o “MUD 8”) del Condado de Montgomery, Texas, se reunirá en sesión ordinaria, abierta al público, el MIÉRCOLES 11 DE MARZO DE 2026 a las 9:00 A.M., en el Walden Yacht Club, 13101 Melville Drive, Montgomery, Texas 77356, en cuya reunión se considerarán y actuarán los siguientes puntos:

1. Public comments (public comments shall be limited to 3 minutes per member of the public);

2. Minutes of December 10, 2025 and February 11, 2026 regular meetings;

3. Tax Assessor/Collector’s Report, including:
a. Collection Report; and
b. Delinquent Tax Report;

4. Bookkeeper’s Report, including:
a. financial reports;
b. cash flows; and
c. payment of bills;

5. Engineer’s Report, including:
a. Lift Station Rehabilitation Project (Phase II);
b. Montgomery County Municipal Utility District No. 9 (“MUD 9”) Buckingham Water Plant Generator Project;
c. update on MUD 9 proposed Lake Estates drainage improvements; and
d. Annual Water Plant Inspection;

6. Operator’s Report, including:
a. monthly water and wastewater operations; and
b. delinquent accounts;

7. Water Conservation Plan and Drought Contingency Plan;

8. Security Report, including update on cybersecurity assessment;

9. Miscellaneous Reports, including:
a. Walden Community Improvement Association; and
b. MUD 9;

10. Update on the Old Walden Fire Station (“OWFS”) property;

11. Attorney’s Report, including amendment of the Interlocal Agreement with MUD 9 for Financing, Construction, Ownership, Operation and Maintenance of Water Facilities; and

12. Election Agenda, including:
Orden Del Día Referente a la Elección, incluyendo:
a. update on May 2, 2026 Directors Election matters, and take any necessary actions on same; and
actualización sobre los asuntos de la Elección de Directores del 2 de mayo de 2026, y tomar las medidas necesarias al respecto; y
b. Adopt Order Declaring Unopposed Candidates Elected to Office and Canceling Election.

If, during the course of the meeting covered by this Notice, the Board should determine that a closed or executive session of the Board should be held or is required in relation to any agenda item included in this Notice, then such closed or executive meeting or session, as authorized by the Texas Open Meetings Act, will be held by the Board at the date, hour, and place given in this Notice concerning any and all subjects for any and all purposes permitted by Sections 551.071 through 551.084, 551.0761 and 551.089, of the Texas Government Code and the Texas Open Meetings Act, including, but not limited to, Section 551.071, for the purpose of a private consultation with the Board’s attorney on any and all subjects or matters authorized by law.
