NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING
NOTIFICACIÓN DE REUNIÓN PÚBLICA

NOTICE is hereby given that the Board of Directors of Montgomery County Municipal Utility District No. 8 (the “District” or “MUD 8”) of Montgomery County, Texas will meet in regular session, open to the public, on WEDNESDAY, MAY 13, 2026, at 9:00 A.M., at the Walden Yacht Club, 13101 Melville Drive, Montgomery, Texas 77356, at which meeting the following items will be considered and acted upon:

Por la presente se notifica que la Junta Directiva del Distrito Municipal de Prestación de Servicios Públicos del Condado de Montgomery nro. 8 (el “Distrito” o “MUD 8”) del Condado de Montgomery, Texas llevará a cabo una reunión ordinaria, abierta al público, el MIÉRCOLES, 13 DE MAYO DE 2026, a las 9:00 A.M., en el Walden Yacht Club, 13101 Melville Drive, Montgomery, Texas 77356, para considerar y actuar sobre los siguientes asuntos:

1. Public comments (public comments shall be limited to 3 minutes per member of the public);

2. Minutes of April 8, 2026 regular meeting;

3. Tax Assessor/Collector’s Report, including:
a. Collection Report; and
b. Delinquent Tax Report;

4. Bookkeeper’s Report, including:
a. financial reports;
b. cash flows;
c. payment of bills; and
d. Quarterly Investment Report (1st quarter 2026);

5. Engage Municipal Accounts & Consulting, L.P. to prepare District financial statements to comply with SAS 115;

6. Engineer’s Report, including:
a. Lift Station Rehabilitation Project (Phase II);
b. Montgomery County Municipal Utility District No. 9 (“MUD 9”) Buckingham Water Plant Generator Project;
c. Risk and Assessment Resilient Emergency Response Plan;
d. annual water plant inspections; and
e. rehabilitation of stormwater outfall lines;

7. Operator’s Report, including:
a. monthly water and wastewater operations;
b. delinquent accounts; and
c. Groundwater Credit Report;

8. Drinking Water Quality Report (CCR);

9. Water Conservation Plan updates;

10. Update on cybersecurity assessment;

11. Miscellaneous Reports, including:
a. Walden Community Improvement Association; and
b. MUD 9;

12. Old Walden Fire Station property;

13. Attorney’s Report, including:
a. easements for Lift Station Nos. 1 and 2;
b. policies relating to filing insurance claims;
c. consider Texas Mutual Insurance Company’s proxy vote for its election of directors; and
d. Memorandum Regarding Cybersecurity Training and Artificial Intelligence Training for Certain Local Government Employees and Elected Officials; and

14. Election Agenda:

a. Issuance of Certificates of Election;
Emitir Certificados de Elección;
b. Qualification of Directors;

c. Administration of Oaths of Office; and

If, during the course of the meeting covered by this Notice, the Board should determine that a closed or executive session of the Board should be held or is required in relation to any agenda item included in this Notice, then such closed or executive meeting or session, as authorized by the Texas Open Meetings Act, will be held by the Board at the date, hour, and place given in this Notice concerning any and all subjects for any and all purposes permitted by Sections 551.071 through 551.084, 551.0761 and 551.089, of the Texas Government Code and the Texas Open Meetings Act, including, but not limited to, Section 551.071, for the purpose of a private consultation with the Board’s attorney on any and all subjects or matters authorized by law.
